Whether you’re an all-weather commuter or an urban trendy, read on to get the sack

Capacity: 25 litres

A rigid plastic frame keeps this bag away from your back, reducing sweat, and supports the pack on your hips.

No pack I've ever used feels as secure on my back but the rubberised hip pads are overkill as these can rub a little in use.

All compartments are waterproof and sealed with waterproof zips, and the main pocket features an organiser for your bits and bobs.

There is space for a drinks bladder and the front flap is adjustable for extra loads.

The Rapha LARGE Backpack (cost actually £125) is the one reviewed. It has been in use by me 4 days a week for nearly a year now and it is superb. Really tough cordura which is extremely waterproof and the reflective dots really work for the daily commute. Great amount of space and keeps my laptop safe and sound. Comfortable it certainly is, too. I recommend it unequivocally. It might seem pricey, but sometimes quality simply costs a little more.
