Whether you’re an all-weather commuter or an urban trendy, read on to get the sack

Capacity: 36.9 litres

The Mastermind is a chunky urban-style rucksack that has an amazing 10 separate pockets - overkill for most riders.

Construction is tough, the bag is very spacious and the fit is secure and comfortable on the bike.

I wouldn't want to ride too far with it though, as my back got rather hot, and with the lack of a waist-strap the bag moves around a little when fully laden.

The Rapha LARGE Backpack (cost actually £125) is the one reviewed. It has been in use by me 4 days a week for nearly a year now and it is superb. Really tough cordura which is extremely waterproof and the reflective dots really work for the daily commute. Great amount of space and keeps my laptop safe and sound. Comfortable it certainly is, too. I recommend it unequivocally. It might seem pricey, but sometimes quality simply costs a little more.
