We pitch two top-level track pumps against each other to see which blows best

The verdict

We love the lifetime warranty Blackburn offers on this 220psi pump, but even so it’s not enough to make it the winner, such is the difficulty caused by the valve head. Our choice is the JoeBlow Ace, it doesn’t have the clean lines and isn’t quite as robust a construction as the Blackburn but it functions appreciably better.
