Belgian kit supplier to Omega-Quick Step and Lotto-Belisol offers ‘unmarked’ clothing too

The Belgian kit supplier to Omega-Quick Step and Lotto-Belisol offers ‘unmarked' clothing too. The Vince range is the pro-level gear and is made up of the technical jacket, short and long-sleeve jerseys, bibshorts and bibtights.

With its comfortable ergonomic design and well-judged use of technical fabrics, the jacket has been my go-to item this winter. The cut is perfect for a racy position on the bike, with sleeves long enough that they don't leave wrists exposed, and a shorter front that doesn't bunch up when riding in the drops.

At the waist and cuffs there are wide, hemless webbing bands that help give the jacket its shape and keep draughts out without resorting to elastic grippers.

There's a triple TriGuard construction made up of a polyester outer, mid WindTex filling and internal Dryarn soft-brushed sponge - all of which combine to keep the cold out impressively well, and there's no clamminess when it warms up.

Verdict

There are the traditional three pockets out back plus a zipped money/key compartment with reflective trim. The red-and-white graphics are a bit Euro for me, but that's down to personal preference.
