Weapons grade construction gives the aluminium bodied Power Drive XL a bomproof feel.

Run time is two hours on the 400 lumens setting with 5.5 hours on economy and flash.

There's a useful battery level function too. Charging is simply a matter of plugging into a computer USB slot.

Lezyne position the XL for road, mtb and commuting and it's powerful and versatile enough for all three.

Verdict

Commuters will like the cut-away lens hood which allows a degree of side illumination at junctions. An even spread of light makes this a great all-rounder for the committed night rider.
