One of the most versatile lights on test, the XERA cable light comes with secure, easy-fit bar and head mounts with enough cable for the remote battery to be sensibly located.

The beam fits into the optimal range and is very impressive on its top setting, allowing you to see more than enough on the darkest of lanes.

Verdict

With another two beam options, low and medium, giving you slightly less depth but increasing in run time, it's perfect for a rider who does a mix of urban and rural riding. Great value for money too.
