We test a selection of the best front cycle lights

There's a lot to be said for self-contained lights - a battery unit is a distressingly hefty lump on a lightweight steed.

USB charging makes the Sirius a handy commuter light - just plug it in at your desk when you get to work - and even on the highest setting the two-hour burn time should get you to work and back.

The rubber strap with pad is more stable than it looks and can be transferred between bikes.

Verdict

It's got some nice functions: three power settings, battery indicator and a number of flash modes, although controlled from a single button/led combo it can feel a tiny bit confusing. It's a fantastic, concentrated beam of light for a rechargeable unit though.
