We test a selection of the best front cycle lights

With a run-time of up to two hours on full whack, a weight of less than 180g, an integrated battery and an impressive output, it's easy to see why the Piko carries a high price.

The bright central spot also has enough peripheral light for fast night riding on the darkest of roads.

Verdict

It's an amazing light, but not cheap; if you ride slower than 18mph - or if you ride on well-lit urban roads - you could probably get away with something more affordable.
