As used by the Phonak pro team as well as the Swiss national squad, the BMC TT02 is finally being launched into the UK market and offers a more realistically priced time trial option than the custom-only TT01.

Retaining a similar aero front profile to the TT01, this is a serious choice in the off-the-peg time trial bike market. Manufactured from the same type of carbon-fibre as BMC?s flagship TT machine, the only noticeable differences are the use of a standard round head tube, Easton forks, and a standard headset rather than the aerofoil hinge on the TT01. More importantly, the TT02 retains the same aerodynamic profiled tubes and cut-out seat tube that its big brother uses.

Available in four sizes (S-XL) but only in the red and black ?Team? colourway, the TT02 retails at 1,900 euros. All that remains is for the new UK distributor to be confirmed.
