Peter Kennaugh

British road race champion Peter Kennaugh is another product of British Cycling’s talent development system, moving through the ranks from a junior, via the academy and on to the Olympic track squad while riding on the road with Team Sky.

Kennaugh, from the Isle of Man, was one of Chris Froome’s key lieutenants at the 2013 Tour de France, riding exceptionally well in the mountains. He didn’t however make the team in 2014 after a difficult early season. He starts the 2014 Vuelta a Espana after winning the Tour of Austria and an aggressive ride in the Commonwealth Games road race.
